Three people were shot in separate incidents about 2 miles apart in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon, police said.
A 37-year-old man was shot once in the leg on Macon Street near Thomas S. Boyland Street at about 3 p.m., police said.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital in serious condition but is expected to survive, authorities said.
About 45 minutes later, two people were shot near a basketball court in Bed-Stuy, cops said.
A gunman opened fire and struck the two men on Hancock Street near Spencer Place, authorities said.
FDNY officials said they rushed one of the victims to Interfaith Medical Center in stable condition.
No arrests were made in either of the shootings.
