A pair of New Jersey shoppers got into an all-out brawl when one of them tried to pass too many items on a grocery store express lane, according to reports.

The fight broke out just after noon on Thursday in a Howell ShopRite when a 45-year-old Howell woman challenged a 43-year-old Brick woman’s food store purchase in the express lane, NBC reported.

The two punched and bit each other, according to Patch.

A third woman tried to intervene but was also scratched and bitten on the leg, reports say.

The Brick woman, who was not named, was charged with assault, and the Howell woman, also not named, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to reports.

All were treated for minor injuries.
