Calling all doctors!
The state has identified 21 poorer city neighborhoods as suffering from a severe shortage of family doctors, The Post has learned.
The Health Department analysis found huge swaths of The Bronx with a shortage of preventive-medicine or primary-care docs, including High Bridge, Hunts Point-Mott Haven, Morrisania, Morris Heights, Soundview and Tremont.
The Brooklyn communities of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick, Coney Island, East New York and Williamsburg also have a dearth of doctors.
