
Shot in the arm
Grappa is an Italian after-dinner liqueur made from distilled grape skins, seeds and stems left over from the winemaking process. A clear drink known as “fire water,” grappa was first made in the 13th century and packs a punch, ranging anywhere from 70 to 120 proof.
