A Lamborghini driver who was shot during a road rage incident on the Upper West Side Monday night was nabbed years ago in the alleged kidnapping of an exotic car dealer who claimed he was Alex Rodriguez’s nephew, a high-ranking police source told The Post.

Lamin Vucetovic, 37, was blasted in his torso when a dark sedan pulled up alongside his Lamborghini SUV at about 10 p.m. following the heated dispute on the road, the source said.

Vucetovic was once accused of kidnapping Norberto Susini — who claimed he was baseball star Alex Rodriguez's nephew.

Vucetovic, who was near the intersection of West 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue at the time, was not seriously injured.

In 2018, he made headlines for allegedly kidnapping Norberto Susini and holding the supposed “nephew” of the former New York Yankees slugger for ransom over a car-deal-gone bad, The Post previously reported.

Susini, who sold exotic cars at the time, told police he was held against his will at a Midtown hotel by Vucetovic and another man, Anthony Gilkes, after Vucetovic pumped the brakes on a deal for a $600,000 Lambo.

Vucetovic allegedly asked that his deposit for the hot wheels be returned — and then he and Gilkes demanded $35,000, as well as the car, from Susini’s associates.

They called police.

Susini told cops that he was the nephew of the three-time American League MVP — but an A-Rod spokesman at the time said Susini was the son of Rodriguez’s half-brother Joe’s late girlfriend.

It’s unclear how Vucetovic’s kidnapping case shook out — as the case is sealed, sources said.
