Here’s a sporting event that Woody Allen might want to join in.
The 10th Annual New York City Triathlon will feature some neurotic New York flavor today, thanks to a team of 35 psychologists who will be on hand to talk to any of the 3,400 participants who balk at jumping into the Hudson River at the start of the race.
The free service began in 2007 after competition organizer John Korff noticed there were always about 50 athletes who panicked before the swim portion.
