A 5-month-old baby died yesterday evening after going into cardiac arrest at a Staten Island daycare center, cops said.

The boy’s heart began failing around 6 p.m. at the Kiddie Academy Child Care Learning Center on South Road, near Hughes Avenue. He was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center where he died.

Police said there was no sign of trauma and no foul play was suspected.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
