A 34-year-old woman fought off a sicko who barged into a Midtown nail salon, bit her on the cheek and tried to rape her Monday evening, cops said.
The victim was inside the shop on West 36th Street near Broadway – blocks from Herald Square – just after 6 p.m. when a stranger barged inside through an open door, police said.
He physically pinned her into a corner, before removing her pants and underwear, touching her private area and biting her on the cheek, authorities said.

The woman, who suffered minor injuries, was hospitalized in stable condition.
It was not immediately clear whether she is an employee of the nail salon.
The attacker, described by cops as a man with a dark complexion and slim build, fled the scene and had not been caught by Tuesday.
