Staten Islanders to the MTA: Take a hike!

Angry motorists and pols gathered at the base of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge yesterday to blast the impending toll increase to $15.

City Councilwoman Debbie Rose called the $2 increase an “unreasonable plan to siphon money out of Staten Island so they can take care of all the other transit systems within the MTA.”
