More money, more problems — more things to destroy

Fat cats and high rollers who’ve had it up to here with gas prices, slow computers and the real-estate market have a new way of relieving their stress.

A New Jersey-based members-only club is offering its rich clients the unique opportunity to demolish anything they desire with whatever weapons they choose.

Members of The Destruction Co. can take their frustrations out on anything from a laptop to a Lamborghini in the club’s secret warehouse or on an undisclosed rooftop.

There’s just one catch: You have to provide the item to be destroyed.

“We have had some odd requests,” a Destruction spokesman told London’s Daily Mail. “Someone wants to smash a Ferrari and one lady destroyed all her ex-husband’s suits.

“One common theme is technology, such as computers, laptops and iPads. There seems to be a desire out there to smash them.”

Clients are given a choice of weapons for their destruction date, including baseball bats, sledgehammers, swords and chainsaws.

All members sign a legal waiver and agree to several rules: no firearms can be used, no living things or paperwork can be destroyed, and no alcohol or drugs can be consumed.

The Hoboken site just opened, and its membership is already swelling with young heirs and wealthy bankers.

But if you think this is just some testosterone-charged place for men to channel their aggression, think again. Forty percent of the members are women.

The company is hoping to expand its business to Los Angeles and London.

According to organizers, members pay an undisclosed annual fee to enjoy regular smashing sessions plus the cost of their destruction.

The company said many of its clients are high-earning city workers or executives at prestigious Wall Street companies.

The club even has a menu. For $250, you can destroy a classic guitar, or for $1,000, you can obliterate a 56-inch Chinese vase.

The alliance is almost as exclusive as the club Tom Cruise crashed in “Eyes Wide Shut.”

People can only join if an existing member invites them and the other members approve.
