A college student from Boston was busted for allegedly using the Internet to obtain and distribute unreleased songs and videos by singer-songwriter Sky Ferreira.

Ahmed Bakhsh, who runs a Web site devoted to Ferreira, hacked into her e-mail and Facebook accounts to steal her work, which was later leaked through Twitter and YouTube, according to a Manhattan federal court complaint.

Bakhsh, a Northeastern University student from Saudi Arabia, was also allegedly caught on tape by the FBI meeting with one of Ferreira’s reps in Manhattan in a bid “to ingratiate himself with the victim and conceal his involvement in the ongoing scheme.”

Ferreira’s publicist, Heathcliff Berru, said she’s “absolutely relieved” by Bakhsh’s arrest, adding: “He’s been messing with her for years.”

Berru noted that the leaked music included “unfinished material and even some tracks that were never meant to see the light of day.”
