A BMW drag-racing down Broadway in Greenwich Village smashed into a yellow cab and seriously injured the singer for a city rock band, The Post has learned.

Musician Tash Neal, had to have brain surgery after the 12:50 a.m. hit-and-run crash Wednesday, according the Facebook page of his band, The London Souls.

The 26-year-old was riding in a taxi on Bleecker Street when the BMW hit the vehicle.

“This white car sped past us going at least 100 mph,” said witness Cassie Markland. “[They] sped through the light. It was really fast.”

Neal was rushed to Bellevue Hospital along with another passenger and the driver.

All three suffered non-life-threatening injuries according to cops.

The band’s Facebook page said Neal is still in intensive care.

Cops were still searching for the driver of the BMW last night.
