The Fire Department says a four-alarm fire in the Bronx is under control.

Spokesman Rich Viglione says six civilians suffered minor injuries.

He says about 140 firefighters were called out to battle the Tuesday blaze on the Grand Concourse near East Tremont Avenue. That’s about a mile north of Yankee Stadium.

Viglione says the fire was declared under control at 2:37 p.m.

Earlier, spokesman Frank Dwyer said there were flames on the seventh, eighth and ninth floors of the building.
