Six people — many with police records — staged a demolition derby in the Lincoln Tunnel Saturday evening, crashing their stolen mini-van into several other vehicles as they tried to escape cops, Port Authority cops said.

Officers had pulled the van over on the Jersey side for a routine traffic stop, and found it had been stolen.

The car took off into the tunnel, careening off the vehicles of terrified motorists. Amazingly, no one was hurt.

The people in the van soon found themselves stuck in the massive traffic jam they created and fled the van, hiding behind other trapped cars to evade cops.

Officers Mike Fusco and Scott Kelliher chased them on foot, tackling two of them in the tunnel. The other four were busted just outside the Manhattan exit.
