Helen Adelson, 71, of Westhampton had been in critical condition but died from her injuries Monday at Stony Brook University Hospital.

The crash also killed her husband, Isidore Adelson, 81, and Scott Martella, 29, who was the communications director for Suffolk County Executive Steven Bellone and an ex-Cuomo staffer.

Martella’s fiancée and high-school sweetheart, Shelbi Thurau, 29, was in the car with him and was injured.

In addition, the wrong-way driver, Carmelo Pinales, 26, his sister, Patricia, 27, and his 10-year-old son, Christopher, were killed.

The carnage happened Sunday about 9:30 a.m. near Exit 68 in Suffolk when Carmelo Pinales of Hicksville was driving eastbound with four passengers when he crossed the median divider and smashed into the BMW with the Adelsons and Martella’s Honda.

Patricia Pinales’s 3-year-old daughter and Winnifer Garcia, 21, were also injured.

Marvin Tenzer, 73, the driver of the BMW, and his wife Sandra Tenzer, 69, were both hurt.
