Here’s something to be thankful for.
While Thanksgiving is expected to be a chilly mess in the Big Apple, sunny skies
are in store for the weekend, forecasters said.
Spectators watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan this morning should escape the rain and raw temperatures, but off-and-on showers are expected this afternoon and evening. The dreary weather will continue into tomorrow.
“It looks like a rainy day, at least through the midafternoon,” said Accu-Weather.com meteorologist Alex Sosnowski.
The winds are expected to pick up, with gusts around 40 mph. Temperatures will rise to 53, but will dip to 33 at night. The brisk conditions will keep up on Saturday. Sunday brings more sunshine and milder conditions.
