A man suspected of stabbing his estranged wife to death last week in a Midtown beauty salon is being held in a suburban Baltimore jail pending a bail hearing expected to take place tomorrow.

Michael Kenny, 42, allegedly killed Denise Kenny, 41, at D’Galina’s Center Unisex Salon, near West 35th Street and Seventh Avenue, on Thursday. He was arrested Friday night en route to an ex-wife’s Millersville, Md., home.

He led cops on an 8-mile low-speed chase before ditching his stolen van and running, only to be shot down with a beanbag gun. A decision on whether to return him to New York to face charges may come tomorrow.
