Slay-plot jail boost
A Long Island ex-businessman serving 8 1/2 to 25 years for pulling off a $100 million mortgage scam might as well make himself comfortable behind bars — after being hit with an additional eight to 16 years for plotting to kill a witness.
Aaron Hand, 40, was found guilty in 2010 after a co-defendant testified against him in a case that saw nearly 30 people convicted.
