Cops are looking for a pair of smiling thieves who snatched an elderly woman’s pocketbook on an Upper East Side street.

The duo approached the 77-year-old victim, who was waiting for a taxi at the corner of First Avenue and East 77th Street around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, snatched her pocketbook and took off, police said.

The pocketbook held a cellphone, credit cards and $465, police said.

The woman was not injured.

Surveillance video shows the duo giggling and running away from the scene.

Both suspects are described as in their 20s. One, who had bright red hair, was last seen wearing black jeans, black sneakers and a maroon jacket. The other, with brown hair, wore a dark-colored jacket with ripped blue jeans.
