Now that the Barneys Coop has opened on Atlantic Avenue, we sent in our most fashionable reporter, Courtney Donahue, to find out just what it has to offer. Here’s her report:

Jeans
Citizens of Humanity
$198
This straight-leg, loose-fit women’s jean is great if you constantly worry about your jeans being too long and dragging on the ground. I didn’t think I would like the straight-leg, but the jeans actually felt really nice. It’s machine washable, which is good, but a little out of my price range.
Men’s shirt
Comme des Garcons
$380
This cotton button-down men’s shirt a patch pocket at the chest is great for the office, or can be worn casually, but I don’t know many men willing to fork over that much money for a cotton shirt. Plus, it’s dry-clean only, so you have to be careful not to spill anything on it.
Dress
Carven
$740
I really liked this dress, it was soft and fit well, and though I’m not usually a fan of color-block dresses, I could see myself wearing it. But $740? Sure, it looked great on, and the fabric might be worth the price to some people, but I can’t afford it.
Dress
Opening Ceremony
$438
If showing a lot of skin in a slinky, sparkly dress is your thing — this might just be the dress for you. But I don’t go clubbing enough to spend that kind of money on one dress, and, again, couldn’t fit into the largest size.
