A celebrity watch dealer yesterday pleaded guilty in Manhattan to unauthorized use of a computer — a misdemeanor — in a step toward resolving charges by his estranged doctor wife that he’d been criminally accessing her e-mails.
If Evan Zimmerman stays out of trouble for the next six months, he will be allowed to replead to disorderly conduct, which is a violation, and all criminal charges against him will be dropped.
Zimmermann, 43, of Manhattan, is CEO of Antiquorum, the world’s largest watch-uction house. His sales have included Mahatma Gandhi’s pocket watch.
