A drive to turn Central Park into a no-car zone is gaining fuel.

An Upper West Side community board last week joined a growing chorus of supporters backing a five-month trial plan to forbid cars 24/7 along a six-mile loop around the lush expanse.

“It was never designed to accommodate automotive traffic,” said Board 7 chair Mel Wymore.
