A former city music teacher caught calling in sick on the same day she conducted a symphony at Trinity Church can’t sue education officials for revealing her fibromyalgia, a federal appeals court ruled yesterday.
Refusing to reinstate Dorrit Matson’s $2 million suit, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals found fibromyalgia “does not carry with it the sort of opprobrium as HIV, AIDS or transexualism.”
