A Web site that falsely reported that Cablevision boss James Dolan had weighed scrapping the Radio City Music Hall “Christmas Spectacular” settled a defamation suit yesterday and posted an online mea culpa.
The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, accused CityFile of acting maliciously in running the July 24 article.
Cablevision owns Radio City.
