When it comes to their troubled Spider-Man musical, Bono and The Edge still haven’t found what they’re looking for.

The official premiere of “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark” has been postponed for the fourth time because the U2 musicians aren’t happy with he problem-plagued show’s ending, The Post has learned.

Sources said Bono and The Edge, the show’s lyricists, saw the problem-plagued production for the first time only last week, and demanded a substantial rewrite of the second act, as well as new songs and scenes.

There have been four serious injuries during the ongoing previews and rehearsals of the stunt-laden show, which was set to open on Feb. 7 but will now debut on March 15.

In addition to the delayed opening, two preview performances — Jan. 18 and Jan. 25 –will be canceled. The producers said the opening was delayed “to fine-tune aspects of the show, including the new ending.”

“The preview schedule allows for only very limited rehearsal time,” producer Michael Cohl said. “I picked a date in March that allows me to ensure that this will be the final postponement.”
