Spirit of WTC
The 20-foot-tall cross made of steel beams from the World Trade Centerwas moved to its permanent home at the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum yesterday.
Rev. Brian Jordan, of St. Peter’s Church, where the cross has stood since 2006, accompanied the 10-ton religious icon on its one-block journey, and blessed it at a somber ceremony.
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and family members killed in the terror attacks attended the service.
