A Bronx mom is suing a Kennedy Fried Chicken joint after her son was stabbed there in a stickup during which panicked workers cowered behind a Plexiglas shield and one even shut off the lights — leaving customers to fend for themselves.

‘‘I wish they would’ve reacted a little bit smarter. Don’t just throw out the lights and put everybody in danger . . . They should’ve called 911,’’ said Olive Davidson, whose son, Jovan, 17, wound up with a bashed head and four stab wounds that nearly killed him in the ensuing blind and bloody brawl.

While Jovan, his cousins and two other friends waited in the store for a ride home from a party on Feb. 13, two alleged Young Gunners gang members entered and shouted, “This is a YG stickup!”

A worker shut off the lights and announced, “We’re closing!’’

Four other gangbangers who were outside rushed into the store, setting off the melee.
