An 18-year-old man has been accused of having sex with horses at a harness track in upstate Goshen.

Erick Rivera was charged with five counts each of sexual misconduct with an animal and burglary after an investigation at the Goshen Historic Track in Orange County.

Horsemen became suspicious when they found the standardbreds bridled and immobilized in their stalls during morning checks.

Police Chief James Watt said yesterday a surveillance camera recorded the unemployed Rivera in a barn. He was being held in the county jail on $15,000 bail.
