ALBANY — Liquor stores fighting to keep supermarkets from getting the right to sell wine poured more than $20,000 into state Senate Republican campaign coffers last month.

Though state lawmakers beat back earlier proposals to do allow supermarket wine sales, insiders said the Senate’s majority Republicans could be receptive.
