Send the state your tips on corruption — just don’t send too many.
State Sen. James Skoufis announced Monday that the Committee on Investigations, which he chairs, is soliciting tips from the public about wrongdoing at the Capitol.
“The point of having this tip line is to ensure we are hearing right from the people of New York in a private way that can provide us insight into improprieties and inefficiencies,” the Hudson Valley Democrat said.
Tips can be e-mailed to investigations@nysenate.gov.
But there are limits.
“Please note that while the committee will carefully consider all requests, it does not have the resources to take on every investigative request,” he added.
Skoufis said three investigations are already underway and “a number of additional investigations are planned.”
