NYPD officers responding to a burglary crashed their car into a man on a skateboard — breaking his leg and dislocating his shoulder, police said Saturday.

The officers were traveling east on Henderson Ave in Staten Island at about 9 p.m. Friday on their way to a burglary in progress when they swerved into a skateboarder at the intersection of Henderson Ave and Oakland Ave, officials said.

The car, which had its lights flashing and sirens on, then crashed into a red Jeep that was driving in the opposite direction on Henderson Ave, authorities said.

The skateboarder was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center with a broken leg and dislocated shoulder, while the two officers sustained minor injuries, according to police.

No other injuries were reported.
