A Staten Island toddler’s tragic death appears to be accidental, cops said Saturday.

Police found little Xavier Battiste unconscious and unresponsive in a public housing building on Continental Place in Mariner’s Harbor at around 5 p.m. after receiving a 911 call, authorities said. The child appeared to have choked on food.

First responders rushed the tot to Richmond University North Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Xavier had no visible injuries. The Medical Examiner will determine his official cause of death.
