A Staten Island teenager was locked up on murder charges Sunday after he allegedly admitted to police that he tried to “kill” his parents, according to court papers.

Adnan Pelinkovic, 18, made the chilling statement Saturday evening after allegedly shooting both his parents in the family’s New Dorp home.

“I did try to kill them,” Adnan Pelinkovic, 18, told cops, the criminal complaint said. “I shot my dad.”

Adnan’s mother, Minire Pelinkovic, 51, was shot in the chest during a family dispute around 6:20 p.m. Saturday and was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, police said.

The accused gunman’s father, Enver Pelinkovic, 54, was wounded, police said. Initial reports said the elder Pelinkovic had been slashed.

Police said the son, who was taken into custody at the scene, used a Sig Sauer 9 millimeter owned by his father to allegedly carry out the slay, cops said.

The deadly shooting was prompted by “some sort of argument,” an NYPD spokesperson said.
