A Staten Island woman fatally stabbed herself and knifed her husband and son when they tried to stop her Sunday night, according to cops and law enforcement sources.

The 62-year-old woman stabbed her 71-year-old husband in the stomach and her 41-year-old son in the leg when they attempted to wrestle a knife away from her inside their Blythe Place home at around 10:15 p.m., authorities and sources said.

She managed to stab herself in the chest and was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police and sources.

Both her husband and son are in stable condition at Staten Island University Hospital.

It’s unclear if the woman attempted to intentionally harm her relatives or if they inadvertently suffered injuries during the attempted intervention, the NYPD said.
