Embattled Gov. Paterson is getting a 21 percent job-approval rating in a Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday, compared to 61 percent who disapprove of how he’s doing.

But 50 percent say they’d like to see the governor finish the final months of his term in office, an improvement from the 46 percent who felt that way in a March 5 poll.
