The NYCLU yesterday unveiled a smartphone app aimed at recording and tracking NYPD stop-and-frisks.
The Android-only app gives users three options: they can record the stops and then send the footage to the NYCLU by shaking the phone; they can use the “listen” feature to see where stops are happening in their area; and they can use the “report” feature to announce a stop that was not filmed.
