A deranged man walked up to a stranger on a Manhattan subway platform early Wednesday morning and asked for the time before slugging the man in the face, cops said.

Christopher Lisojo, 31, approached the 29-year-old victim on the C and E train platform at the 50th Street and Eighth Avenue station in Midtown at around 3:50 a.m., according to police.

Lisojo asked him for the time before socking the man in the nose.

Lisojo stayed on the platform – and the victim approached NYPD cops at the station and gave them a description of the pugilist.
