A straphanger committed suicide Friday morning by jumping in front of a Midtown subway train, cops say.

The incident happened around 8:20 a.m. at the Port Authority Bus Terminal subway stop at West 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, according to cops.

The person was declared dead at the scene, cops said.
