A drunk straphanger shoved an MTA worker onto the tracks of a Queens subway station early Saturday, police said.

Krzfztof Chowaniec, 50, was seen pacing back and forth on the Manhattan-bound M/R/ platform of the Grand Avenue-Newton station in Elmhurst at about 1:30 a.m. when the “unprovoked” attack unfolded, cops said.

Chowaniec, who police said was intoxicated, approached an on-duty MTA employee on the edge of the platform — then pushed him onto the tracks without warning, officials said.

Responders quickly removed the 58-year-old transit worker from the rail bed and rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital with a sprained ankle injury.

Chowaniec, of Greenpoint, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and assault, cops said.

He was set to appear in court Saturday.
