A woman was stabbed in the stomach in the subway system in Lower Manhattan on Sunday morning, cops said.
A man jabbed a sharp object into the woman’s gut around 8 a.m. in the area of the Chambers Street A/C/E line, cops said. It wasn’t immediately clear if the attack happened on a train or in the station, a police spokesman said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.
