A not-so-brainy Columbia football player has put both his college career and freedom in jeopardy over about $80 he allegedly pocketed for fake IDs, authorities said.

Lions wide receiver Anthony Johnson Jr., 19, was charged last week with felony possession of 42 fake driver’s licenses that he told authorities he bought for a gaggle of friends from an online, China-based novelty shop.

Johnson told an investigator in the Manhattan DA’s Office that he paid $65 a pop for the fake licenses and charged friends $2 extra, court papers show.

“Anthony’s a good guy, but he was stupid to get messed up in this,” one of his friends told The Post.

School officials wouldn’t comment but the Columbia Spectator newspaper reported that Johnson has been suspended from school until his June court date.
