A couple was found dead in their Queens apartment after neighbors noticed a stench in the building, cops said.

The bodies of Diana Rodriguez, 47, and Kevin Flannelly, 59, were found in the living room of their apartment in Sunnyside at about noon Tuesday after police responded to a call from neighbors.

“It smelled like rotten rat, like someone died on the first floor,” said José Vasquez.

“I was shocked. [Diana] was a nice person.”

The couple’s bodies showed no apparent signs of physical trauma, police said.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death.
