The gangway to a submarine displayed at Manhattan’s Intrepid Museum was damaged yesterday after a strong wave caused by a nearby cruise ship rocked it loose, authorities said.

The incident occurred at about 8 a.m. as a Norwegian Star cruise liner was attempting to turn into its berth just north of the Air, Sea and Space Museum at West 46th Street, according to Coast Guard officials and the museum’s Facebook page.
