A G train derailed in Brooklyn Thursday night — suspending service and stranding around 150 straphangers who needed to be evacuated.
The southbound subway train derailed at 10:16 p.m. when the first car’s front two wheels came off the track about 600 feet south of the Hoyt-Schermerhorn stop in Downtown Brooklyn, the MTA said in a statement.
About 150 riders are being evacuated, and G train service has been suspended between Bedford and Nostrand/Church.
It’s unclear how many were injured in the derailment.
