A Subway sandwich shop employee fought off an armed robber in Queens, police said.

Cops say a man wearing a mask and gloves hopped over the counter at a Subway shop on North Conduit Road on March 17 and demanded employees open the safe just after 10 p.m.

As he held a gun to an employee’s head, a co-worker tackled the thief and pinned him to the ground, according to police.

After a brief struggle, the Subway employee was able to take the gun out of the robber’s hand and drove him and an accomplice out of the store, cops said.

The crooks fled without the gun or money.

Police sources say the duo are wanted for two other Queens robberies as well, allegedly sticking up another Subway sandwich shop on Merrick Boulevard and a gas station in Fresh Meadows.

No arrests have been made, according to cops
