A subway motorman with two fatalities and a near- miss on his record wants back on the job.
Veteran MTA worker David Pouncy of Elmont, LI, says in court papers that PTSD forced him to leave his MTA job in June 2015 after his train narrowly missed striking a track worker.
Two people were killed by trains Pouncy operated — including a man lying on subway tracks in July 2012 and a track worker in April 2007.
Pouncy was cleared of wrongdoing each time, said his lawyer, Douglas Rosenthal.
He took more time off after the last near-miss, but the MTA sent a termination notice, claiming Pouncy had been off the job too long.
“He never should have been terminated in the first place,” Rosenthal said.
The MTA declined to comment.
