A 64-year-old woman was beat up by a fellow straphanger during a clash over a seat on a Queens subway train, authorities said.
The women argued on a northbound E train when they both tried to claim a seat as it was nearing the Roosevelt Avenue station around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The suspect, believed to be about 30-years-old, then started punching the woman several times in the face.
Someone on board the train managed to snap a photo of the attacker, and turned it over to police.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
