The drunken Cipriani cook who shoved a woman into an oncoming subway train two years ago was sentenced to 15 years’ prison yesterday — still claiming that it was all an accident.
“I am not like that. I am not capable of acting that way,” José Rojas protested to a Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Ronald Zweibel.
“I’m not that kind of person,” he said, still denying he randomly pushed Ute Linhart on the uptown platform of the Broadway/28th Street station in 2010.
A jury cleared Rojas of attempted murder but convicted him of felony assault last month after eyewitnesses testified that he had been glaring at people on the platform moments before the shove.
