A person was struck by a subway train at the Jay Street-MetroTech station on Friday afternoon.

The northbound F train was pulling into the station at 2:33 p.m. when the incident happened.

Emergency personnel are still on the scene trying to remove the victim from the tracks. It’s not clear yet whether the person is alive or dead.

F trains are being rerouted and A,C, D, and G trains are also delays while the investigation is ongoing.
