A man fell to his death while surfing on top of a moving subway car during the Friday rush-hour commute, according to law enforcement sources.

The 29-year old male fell between two subway cars while riding on the roof of a southbound A train at 168th Street and Broadway shortly after 5 p.m., sources said.

Police responded to the scene, where the man was declared dead.

“He was trying to climb between cars,” one MTA worker said after the incident. “He was lying there. There was blood.”

The subway surfer’s name is being withheld pending family notification.

An MTA source added, “Don’t train surf. That’s stupid. You’re going to die.”
